The green of the town

Green in the town fulfills important functions: on hot days the expanses covered with vegetation are quite cooler; they are at work as water storages and so they moderate the dry and hot climate of the town. The plants absorb considerable amounts of dust. Green areas have a high name for sparetime, relaxation and experience. Accordingly places in the city, which are rich in vegetation, are also important areas for meetings and social contacts. That's why they are mostly well-tendended and landscaped by representative points of view.

In opposition to this stands the larger number of species in the fallow land of the city centre. Because of the specific locational conditions lots of species are able to introduce, which are indigenous in warmer and dryer regions. Together with conformist indigenous species new urban symbiosis arised, which are typical for the city centre. This spontanous vegetation is optimal conformist and so it's vital. Without the required cost-intensive landscaping measurements of attention - these expanses have a favourable effect on the living conditions of the town (climate-improvement, filtering of dust, bond of harmful substances, induced recharging of the ground water). The phenotype of the "wild vegetation" of the fallow lands stands out clearly from the traditional tending green areas; so it offers valuable alternatives for people who need recovery, for those, who like the contacts with nature.
